DropFTP is a small and easy-to-use AppleScript droplet that uses Anarchie FTP client (http://www.stairways.com/) to transfer files in the right locations on a remote FTP server. You must specify the root folder on your Mac and the equivalent root directory on the FTP server. Then you just drag-and-drop files on DropFTP's icon and the script transfers the files to the right places – even in sub-directories.

  15. • a Mac OS-compatible computer

  18. • Dialog Director and Resource Utilities (should be placed inside Scripting Additions folder)

  20. Installing DropFTP
  21. DropFTP uses Dialog Director scripting addition to provide its user interface. Dialog Director should be installed in the Scripting Additions folder, inside your System Folder. If you want to be able to import Mac OS 8.5 link clippings, Resource Utilities should be installed in the same folder. You have to restart in order to use the new Scripting Additions.

  26. Known bugs and limitations
  27. • The previous version of DropFTP had bugs which prevented it working in some operating system configurations. One source of the problem has been fixed in this release, but if you get any of these error messages, please contact me at dropftp@visakopu.net.

  29.      • "File "Macintosh HD:Web Pages:index.html" can't be found."
